Boundless Graveyard by khantheripper Boundless Graveyard by khantheripper
This is one of my many graphite pieces inspired by the works of Stephen Gammell. The fog is supposed to give a sense of the dead lands extending on eternally.

I've been trying to draw like Stephen Gammell for a while but can't get as close to his style as you have. This is fantastic. :-)

Incredible. Well done. Looks like Gammell did it himself.

Well thank you very much! I don't actually think I could say the same, but it would be a really cool place to visit and explore. I always felt like pieces that made people want to "go there" were among the greatest, so its quite a compliment that you'd want to reside there!

Oh but it's so much better to actually hear you compliment it than to assume you like it. :) Thanks!

Nice, I haven't seen many people do Gammell's style justice. Great work.

Mesmerizing piece, the tendrils are very reminiscent of Gammell's style. Such an atmosphere, instant fave.

That's one of the best compliments I have gotten. There are a lot of things that I actually prefer in my own work over his, somehow I just can't perfect those tendrils the way he did. He is truely the master.

You just be you be you when you do the tendrils, it's what differentiates you two. I think the whole contrasty black and white tones is what stands out overall, Still impressed with your work, great stuff.

I am glad you like it. Though I must admit, the contrast does not apear as high on the actual drawing as it probably does on your monitor.
